Federal Reserve Education-

The Federal Reserve has a financial literacy site that is good for all ages.  It has discussions on everything from the history of the Fed to home ownership tools.  Their are lesson plans for children from grades K-12.

Student Loan Credit Crunch-

The student loan market is starting to feel the effects of the credit crunch.  More than 30 lenders have indicated that they will stop making some types of student loans.  The U.S. Department of Education has decided to detail its plans for emergency student loans.

Improving Financial Literacy-

The Securities & Exchange Commission has recognized the need for financial literacy in all segments of society.  On numerous occassions Chairman Christopher Cox indicated that financial literacy would be a high priority for the SEC.  His testimony before the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs can be viewed by clicking on the link attached.
