An attractive college campus can help with recruiting new students.  Forbes has an article and slideshow on the most beautiful college campuses.  Some of the schools are familiar names like Stanfor, Princeton, and the University of Virginia.  However, lesser know schools like Kenyon College and Scripps College also made the list.

Fastest Growing Professions -

A recent Fortune article looks at the future job market and discusses the fastest growing professions.  Increasing demand for health care services helped to place registered nurses at the top of the list.  Also on the list were network and data anaylsts as well as accountants.

B-Schools Build -

Top business schools are constructing new buildings and making their campuses more attractive to potential applicants.  In addition, the modern campuses are helping to secure alumni funding and established professors.  Donations to top business schools have not fallen in recent years the same way as other academic programs.

Executive MBA Referrals -

Executive MBA programs receive a high percentage of applications due to referrals.  The EMBA Council reported that 31% of respondents listed an alumnus as the reason for the application in a 2009 survey.  Programs are starting to offer greater incentives for referrals to encourage more alumni involvement.
