Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2011 -

The Financial Times Global MBA rankings for 2011 covers business school programs from around the world.  The rankings provide data on careers, placement rates, and salaries.  The Financial Times MBA rankings have London Business School and Wharton tied for number one.  The rest of the top five are Harvard Business School, Insead, and Stanford.  Stanford has the highest weighted salary of all MBA programs at slightly over $180,000.

MIT OpenCourseWare -

MIT OpenCourseWare offers free lecture notes and exams for courses in almost every subject.  No registration is required for the site and each course is easy to download.  The most visited courses are in computer science, mathematics, and engineering.  The Sloan School of Management offers courses in Real Estate Finance, Entrepeneurship, and Investments.

Stanford University NYC -

Stanford University has announced that it is considering an educational center in New York City.  The facility would have 25 faculty members, 125 PHD students, and 250+ master’s degree students.  The Stanford School of Engineering and the Graduate Business School would be the primary focus of the information technology center.  MIT and other top-tier schools are also considering building applied science facilities in New York City.
