M.B.A. Applications Decline -
According to the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), applications to M.B.A. programs have fallen 2% this year. This is the first decline in applications in several years and fewer foreign applicants are one of the reasons. Competition from international programs and a greater difficulty with visas and student loans were cited as reasons. One positive note for future applicants is that some programs saw a decrease in applications but still admitted a higher percentage of students.
